About Salt Lake Boudoir

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was a photographer, and as a young boy, I had the rare opportunity to learn the craft from him. By the time I was 13 years old, I was already photographing graduation portraits using film cameras, carefully learning how light, composition, and timing could come together to create something meaningful. What began as curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong passion for capturing moments and telling stories through images.

Over the years, that passion has taken me around the world photographing wildlife and nature, as well as working with families and individuals who want to preserve important moments in their lives. Boudoir photography, however, has become one of the most rewarding areas of my work because of the creativity and trust involved. Every session is different, and creating images that exceed a client’s expectations requires careful lighting, thoughtful posing, and a genuine connection with the person in front of the camera.

The most meaningful part of this work is seeing how clients react when they view their finished photographs. Many arrive at the session feeling nervous or unsure of what to expect, but leave with a new sense of confidence and pride in who they are. It’s incredibly moving to watch someone realize that the beauty they see in magazines or media is not reserved for celebrities; it’s something they possess as well, they simply needed the right photographer to reveal it. Women carry many pressures and unrealistic expectations in society, and if my work can help someone see their own value, confidence, and radiance more clearly, then the experience has been truly worthwhile for both of us.
